Spring: get the light and air back in
Winter matting raked out, sand and gravel off the turf edges, beds cleared, downed branches gone. Snow-mould matting left flat is how you get bare patches by June.

Spring and fall cleanups are the highest-value visits of the year, and in lake country they are also the ones that decide what a property looks like when you arrive for the season. Everything else — mowing, feeding, weeding — works better on a lawn that was cleaned off properly in April.

Leaves left under snow smother the turf and come out in spring as dead matting. Getting them off is the single best thing you can do for next year’s lawn.
Perennials cut down, debris hauled, and beds tidied so spring starts from clean ground rather than last year’s wreckage.
Debris loaded and taken. Not bagged and stacked behind the garage.
Most of our customers book two or three of these together — it is cheaper than separate visits and it all gets done the same day.
Booked most often in these communities — and available in all 29 we cover.
As soon as the ground is firm enough to work without tearing up soft turf — usually April here, and it moves with the year. Going in too early does more damage than waiting a week.
On a property with mature trees, often not — leaves do not all come down at once. Many properties do best with a first pass and then a final clean-up after the last of the oaks let go.
Yes, and it is a lot of what we do. Overgrown, unmown for a season, or a property that has sat empty — that is a one-time cleanup, and it is the most satisfying job on the list.
It is the promise Robert Diaz has made since 2016, and we have kept it on the site word for word: if you are not completely happy with the work, we will make it right or you get your money back. There is no version of this where you are stuck with a lawn you are unhappy about.
