Who we are
Racoon Lawn Care Services, LLC is a lawn care and landscaping company based at 604 S Broadway, Pelican Rapids, MN 56572, operating since September 2016. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Racoon Lawn Care Services, LLC, and “you” means the person requesting or receiving services.
Estimates and pricing
Estimates are free and given after we have looked at the property. An estimate is based on the condition of the property at the time we saw it and on the scope we discussed. If the scope changes — the grass is twice as high as it was, the job turns out to include something we did not see, or you ask for additional work — we will talk to you about the revised price before doing it, not after.
Estimates are not indefinite. Material costs and conditions change, so if a quote has been sitting for a long season we may need to look again.
Scheduling, weather and access
Recurring services run on a regular schedule, but this is Minnesota and outdoor work moves with the weather. Rain, saturated ground, storms and early or late freezes can push a visit. When that happens we move you to the next workable day; we deliberately work seven days a week so a wet Thursday does not cost you a week.
We need reasonable access to the property, including gates, and we need to know about dogs, invisible fences, irrigation heads, low-voltage lighting, septic components, buried lines and anything else in the turf that a mower or a shovel should not find. If it is not marked and not mentioned, we cannot be responsible for it.
Payment
Payment is due on the terms stated in your estimate or invoice. We accept cash and check. Recurring accounts are invoiced on the cycle we agree at the start. If an account falls significantly behind we may pause service until it is brought current, and we will tell you before we do.
Our satisfaction guarantee
We offer a 100% satisfaction money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with a service we performed, tell us promptly — ideally within a few days of the visit, while we can still see what you are describing — and we will return and make it right, or refund what you paid for that service. This guarantee covers the quality of our workmanship. It does not cover things outside our control, such as drought damage, disease, insect activity, weather events, or the results of care performed by someone else.
What we do not do
We are honest about the edges of our scope, and we would rather turn work down than do it badly. Large-tree removal that requires climbing and rigging, tall or high roof-line work, engineered retaining walls holding significant earth loads, and new irrigation system design and installation are outside what we take on. If your job needs one of those, we will tell you rather than attempt it.
Plant material and living things
Plants are living things and no one can guarantee their survival. We will select appropriate plants for the site, install them properly, and tell you what they need. Their survival depends heavily on watering and care after we leave, which is generally in your hands. Ask us what a new planting needs and we will tell you plainly.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota. We may update them from time to time; the effective date at the top of this page tells you when they last changed, and the version in force is the one published here when you engage us.
