How often should my lawn be mowed?
Weekly through the growing season is right for most lawns here, and bi-weekly works on slower-growing or shadier properties. The rule that matters more than the calendar is never taking off more than about a third of the blade in one cut — so in a wet June, weekly is not optional.
Do you bag the clippings?
Usually not, and that is deliberate: returned clippings put nitrogen and moisture back into the lawn. We bag when the grass got away from us, when it is wet enough to clump, or when you would rather we did.
Can I get a one-time mow?
Yes. A lot of first jobs are a single overgrown-property cut, and plenty of those stay one-time jobs. There is no contract required to get on the schedule.
