Feed the turf, crowd the weeds

Weed control that starts with thicker grass.

Spraying a weed kills that weed. It does nothing about the bare, thin, compacted patch that let it in. So we do both: treat what is growing now, and feed and thicken the turf so the next seed that lands has nowhere to go.

Weed Control & Fertilization

What you are actually paying for.

01

Targeted, not blanket

Broadleaf weeds get treated where they are. A whole-lawn application when you have dandelions in two corners is money and chemistry you did not need.

02

Fed on the seasons that count

Spring green-up, and — more importantly here — a late-season feeding that goes into root storage before freeze-up. Fall feeding is what decides how a Minnesota lawn looks the following May.

03

Creeping charlie and clover get named

The two that most Otter Tail County lawns actually fight. Both want different timing than dandelions, and both come back if you treat them once in July and call it done.

04

Thin patches get addressed, not sprayed

Where the problem is shade, compaction or traffic, more herbicide will not fix it. We will tell you that.

Also on the truck

One call covers the property.

Most of our customers book two or three of these together — it is cheaper than separate visits and it all gets done the same day.

Where we do this

Good to know

Weed Control & Fertilization — your questions.

When is the best time to treat weeds?

Broadleaf weeds are most vulnerable in fall, when they are pulling everything down into the roots and take the treatment with it. Spring treatment is more visible and more satisfying; fall treatment is what actually thins them out the next year.

Is it safe for kids and pets?

Products get applied at label rate and everything we use has a stated re-entry time — usually until dry. We will tell you what went on your lawn and how long to stay off it, every time.

Do you overseed?

Yes, and late August into September is the window here — warm soil, cooling air, less weed competition. Seed thrown down in June mostly feeds the birds.

Try it risk free

A 100% satisfaction money-back guarantee.

It is the promise Robert Diaz has made since 2016, and we have kept it on the site word for word: if you are not completely happy with the work, we will make it right or you get your money back. There is no version of this where you are stuck with a lawn you are unhappy about.
