A lake property tells on you.
Half the properties out here are empty half the year. You drive up in May, or in July, or the weekend you are showing it to a renter, and the yard either says somebody has been looking after this or it says nobody has been here since October.
That is the whole job, and it is why our schedule is built the way it is. A standing slot means your lawn gets mowed on the same rhythm whether or not you are there to see it. Spring means we open the property up — matting raked off, beds cleared, sand off the turf edges. Fall means we close it down before the snow lands on a lawn full of leaves.
And because we are Pelican Rapids-based rather than driving up from the cities, a shoreline lot on Pelican or a bay on Dead Lake is a normal Tuesday for us, not a special trip with a premium attached.

Lawn & Turf Care
The recurring work that keeps a property looking cared-for all season — mowing on a schedule, turf fed and weeded, irrigation actually aimed at the grass.
Lawn Care & Maintenance
Mowing, edging and trimming on a schedule you can set your week by — with the clippings blown off your walks and drive before we leave.

Targeted treatments and a feeding schedule that thickens the lawn — because dense turf is the only weed control that keeps working after the truck leaves.

Start-ups, leak-finding, head adjustment and seasonal shutdown — so the water lands on the lawn instead of the driveway.

The work that changes what a property looks like: planting plans installed, beds edged and mulched, shrubs shaped, and block walls built on a base that holds.
Landscape & Garden Design
Planting plans and full installation built around your house, your soil and how much time you actually want to spend on it.

Fresh mulch or decorative rock over properly prepped beds — cut edges, weeds pulled, and the right depth to actually suppress what comes next.

Trimming and shaping that respects how the plant grows — including the ornamental and topiary work you can see in our gallery.

Block retaining walls, paver features and stone edging — built on a compacted base with drainage behind, because that is the part that decides whether it stays straight.

Seasonal and whole-property jobs — the spring open-up, the fall close-down, and the gutters and glass while we are already there.
Spring & Fall Cleanups
The two visits that set up every other one — matting and debris off the lawn in spring, leaves and beds put to bed in fall.

Gutters and downspouts cleared of leaves and grit, then run with water to prove they actually drain.

It is the promise Robert Diaz has made since 2016, and we have kept it on the site word for word: if you are not completely happy with the work, we will make it right or you get your money back. There is no version of this where you are stuck with a lawn you are unhappy about.
The six we started with.
These are the lakes and communities this company was built around. We now cover 29 of them across 3 counties.
Pelican Lake
Big Pelican — the lake the town, the river and this company are all named after. Dense cabin and lake-home shoreline, a lot of it seasonally occupied, and the single biggest concentration of properties we look after.
Otter Tail County →CommunityDunvilla
The crossroads community northwest of town at the Pelican Lake end of the highway, and one of the six places our service area has always been built around. Small, seasonal, and almost entirely lake-property work.
Otter Tail County →LakeLake Lizzie
Four thousand acres and sixty-six feet deep at the north end, sitting in Dunn and Lida townships just west of town. Another of the six lakes our service area was originally drawn around.
Otter Tail County →LakeLake Melissa
South of Detroit Lakes and one of the original six on our list. Tight, well-kept cabin shoreline where the properties are close together and everybody can see everybody else’s lawn.
Becker County →LakeLake Sallie
Between Detroit Lake and Melissa on the same connected chain, and another of the six lakes named on our service area from day one.
Becker County →CommunityDetroit Lakes
The biggest lake town in the region, north of us where Highways 59 and 10 cross — and one of the six places our service area was built around from the start. City properties, lake properties and commercial frontage all in one place.
Becker County →What our customers say.
The three reviews our customers have published, quoted as written. We have not turned them into a star rating we cannot back up.

Questions we get asked.
How often do you recommend lawn care services?
It depends on the property and the season. Weekly or bi-weekly maintenance keeps most lawns looking their best through the growing season — weekly in a wet June, bi-weekly on slower or shadier properties. We will tell you which one your lawn actually needs rather than selling you the bigger number.
Do you offer one-time services, or only ongoing maintenance?
Both. Plenty of our work is a single overgrown-property cleanup, one fall leaf clean-up, or one mulch job. Plenty of it is a standing weekly slot. No contract is required to get on the schedule.
What areas do you serve?
Pelican Rapids and the surrounding lakes area — 29 communities across 3 counties, including Pelican Lake, Dunvilla, Lake Lizzie, Lake Melissa, Lake Sallie and Detroit Lakes. If you are not sure whether we reach you, call and ask; the answer is usually yes, sometimes with a day attached.
Are your services customizable?
Yes, and most jobs end up that way. Every yard is different, and so is how much of it you want to hand off. Tell us what you want handled and what you would rather do yourself.
Do you provide free estimates?
Always. We come out, walk the property, and give you a price. There is no charge and no obligation.
¿Hablan español?
Sí. We work in English and Spanish — quotes, scheduling and any questions about the work can be handled in Spanish or English, whichever you prefer.
Can you look after a lake property while I am not there?
That is a large part of what we do. A seasonal property on a standing schedule gets mowed, trimmed and kept up whether or not anyone is at the cabin, so it looks cared-for when you pull in — not like it has been empty since October.
What happens if it rains on my mowing day?
We move you, usually to the next dry day, and we work seven days a week specifically so a wet Thursday does not cost you a week. Mowing saturated turf tears it and leaves ruts, so waiting a day is the right call.
How do I get on the schedule?
Call or text (218) 770-8950, or send the quote form on our contact page. We are reachable Monday–Sunday, 6:00 am – 9:00 pm, which for most people means before or after work.
Ready for a lawn you do not have to think about?
Call Robert Diaz directly on (218) 770-8950, or send the form and we will come look at the property. Monday–Sunday, 6:00 am – 9:00 pm.
